Consumption Charges (montly minimum charges, charges for uses over 3 ccf, residential & commercial billing calculations, etc.)
Chesapeake Public Utilities will automatically begin an HRSD account with a new water account. HRSD provides sewage treatment and bills customers separately according to water usage. Call 757-460-2491 for concerns about your HRSD bill.

There are three systems within the City:
1. Northwest River Treatment Plant serving south of Military Highway.
2. City of Norfolk supply by contract for Indian River and South Norfolk areas.
